Basic Design documentation - Regional Municipal Waste Treatment Center

It is a mechanical-biological treatment line where approximately 60 000 tons of mixed municipal waste is to be processed per year. In the technology unit of this line, the mixed municipal waste will be first subjected to mechanical treatment - crushing and sorting. This will divide it into the following sections:

• light combustible fraction 18 000 tonnes/year
• biologically decomposable fraction 39 900 tonnes/year
• ferrous and non-ferrous materials and bulk waste 1800 tonnes/year
• hazardous waste sorted from the mixed municipal waste 300 tonnes/year
