External and internal transport of biomass for K6 boiler

The subject of the Work was the creation of technology for external biomass transport as part of the project "K6 - Increasing of co-incineration of biomass" in the premises of Plzeňská Teplárenská, for INVELT Servis s.r.o. 

A system of belt conveyors ensures the transport of biomass to 2 operating storage tanks and then a system of screw conveyors to the boiler house.

The operational fuel tanks have a volume of 600 m³ and are made up of two identical sections. Fuel accumulation is handled by hydraulically sliding floors with fuel flow regulation. The subsequent transport from the storage tanks to the boiler is then ensured by means of screw conveyors.

The guaranteed transport capacity is 300m3 / hour for wood-chip, or 90t / hour for uncontaminated wood-chip.
